This is not a tribute or a love letter to the 80s. As two boys who would eventually become men over the span of years that made up the decade, we despised them and most of what they stood for. We think of this as therapy. Catharsis. Closure. Our way of making peace with the decade where we never seemed to be kin or fit in. We wanted our chance to in some small way own a place in our history. And perhaps in the process make it rock. In August 2017, on a birthday visit to our home town, in a seedy motel room with our minds ablaze, we began to plot our course. We ended up learning alot and having fun with it. We hope you do too!
